1What is the appropriate age to start learning chess?
Chess is a game where players have to analyze and think creatively. The age of 5 is an ideal time to start playing chess for the children.
2What devices/systems do I need for the class?
For online learning, the basic requirements will include a mobile, computer or a laptop with good internet connectivity. You will also need a chess board to learn better. The zoom app will have to be installed on the device.
3How is the payment procedure held?
50% advance payment will be taken once the admission procedure is done. The rest can either be paid in installments or in full before the course ends. The same will be discussed in detail during the admission of your ward.
4Is your payment gateway secure?
Yes we have a very safe payment gateway. We accept payments through online transactions (Google Pay, Paytm), bank transfer, cheques or cash.
5What are the benefits of playing chess?
Chess helps in improving memory and focus of your child. It boosts planning skills, elevates creativity, enhances brain function and is very good for increasing your cognitive abilities.
6What is the syllabus & course duration?
The syllabus and course duration depends on the course you opt for. We provide Online 1 on 1 as well as online group classes. There are 4 graduating levels: Beginners, Intermediate, Advanced and Masters. Depending on your ward’s knowledge of chess, heshe will be put in the respective level.
7Do you conduct chess tournaments?
Yes we do conduct chess tournaments. The registration forms will be highlighted on our website.
8Do you provide regular lessons and homework?
Yes. We believe that regular lessons and homework is necessary for the student to know how much he has grown in chess.
9Are weekend sessions available?
Yes. Weekend sessions will be available for online 1 on 1 class. The timing and days will be discussed during the admission procedure.
10What happens if I miss the class?
There is no issue if you missed a class. In an online 1 on 1 course, you will not miss anything, so there is nothing to worry about. However, in the group sessions, the notes and lessons will be shared with the child. The recordings of the class will be sent to him for learning.
11Are live classes recorded?
Yes. We record each and every class, so that if your ward misses a class then we can share the same with them.
12What is the schedule of the chess course?
The class will be scheduled twice a week. The days and timings will be decided after knowing the students' learning capabilities.
13What is the group chess course duration?
16 sessions in 2 months
14Are there 1:1 online chess sessions?
Yes. We do offer 1 on 1 chess classes.
15What is the personal chess course duration?
The duration of personal courses will completely depend on the students pace of learning and understanding.
16How will the classes be conducted?
Classes will be conducted live through the zoom platform. The meeting link will be shared with the student before the class.
17Any particular hours in a day that my child should spend on chess?
It is rightly said that, ‘Practice makes a man perfect.’ So, the student will have to spend a minimum of one hour playing chess everyday.
18How effective is personal chess coaching?
Personal chess coaching is effective because The ward will gain personal attention. The coaching pace will go according to the child's learning abilities for him to become an expert.
